Supreme Court Weighs In on EPA
In what is being called “one of the most important environmental decisions in years”, at least by the Financial Times, the US Supreme Court has ruled 5-4 that the EPA has not offered “reasoned explanation” for not regulating emissions of various gasses from new cars and trucks.
According to the story, “The ruling will increase pressure on the administration to change its long-held opposition to mandatory limits on carbon emissions and is a setback for both US carmakers and coal-fired power plants.”
