The concert will more likely be preaching to the converted than it is converting more people to the cause. Roger Daltrey is already criticizing the concert before the first note is played, observing that big concert venues create trash - the last thing the planet needs. Meantime, the politicians are lining up on partisan lines. What will happen after the last notes of the concert have died down? The real focus should be on both investing in cleantech solutions, and individuals modifying their consumption to save the planet!
